popado is where I write about software, tools, small projects, and the occasional detour.

I’m Giovanni Martina, a software engineer based in São Paulo. I like building useful things with a small surface area: personal automation, AI workflows, local-first tools, and experiments that start from curiosity, taste, or a question I can’t leave alone.

Most posts here are notes from the workbench. What I tried, what broke, what felt promising, what I’d do differently next time.

Sometimes the subject is code. Sometimes it’s attention, systems, writing, or the strange ways tools change how we think.

Expect:
• build notes from small software projects
• experiments with AI agents, automation, and indie tools
• practical notes on making personal systems less annoying
• occasional reflections from outside the laptop

No grand thesis. Just working notes from someone trying to build a life with more agency and fewer moving parts.
